What this site collects, why, and who else sees it. No legalese.
The campaign runs Google Ads. Every page carries Google's ad tag (AW-18525867908) so we can tell whether those ads actually bring people to the site. Google may set cookies to do that. Google explains how in its ads privacy policy, and you can turn off personalized ads at adssettings.google.com.
When you write to Hans, the form sends your name, email address, and message to the campaign inbox. It is delivered by an email service, Resend. We use it for one thing: writing you back.
Questions you type into Ask Hans are sent to an AI service, Anthropic, which writes the answer. Ask Hans doesn't ask who you are, and this site doesn't keep your questions. Even so, please leave personal details out of them.
Hans's videos are played by YouTube and fall under YouTube's own policies. We embed them through YouTube's privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com address, which holds back YouTube's cookies until you press play.
The site's fonts come from Google Fonts, and the site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps the standard server logs any website has. Beyond what's listed on this page, we sell nothing and share nothing with anyone.
